Static
Latheguard
Three models are available, each having a
super strength construction of an aluminium
diecast frame and polycarbonate vision panels.
These
latheguards are supplied complete with all
fittings for easy mounting to any lathe and
consist of a support bracket for fitting to
the top, rear or front face for the headstock
to carry a steel rod to support the guard
and stop collar, the rotational adjustment
of which varies the angular plane of the Guard
enabling the apron to be set to clear toolboxes
of different heights, ensuring clear safe
vision at all times.

 Saddle
Mounted Traversing Latheguards
The saddle mounted latheguards have the physical
dimensions of the matching static latheguards. Each
guard is supplied complete with substantial mounting
blocks for direct saddle attachment together with
20mm support rods. With this protection over the
entire danger area.
 The
guard can be rapidly adjusted both vertically and
horizontally to suit any given set-up or tooling
and when at rest the guard can be pivoted upwards
to give rapid access to chuck and workpiece.
Electrical
interlocks for Models SL 12 and SL 18 can be fitted;

The
Securvue® Lathe Chuckguard affords operator
protection against accidental machine contact
and work-piece ejection; additionally it assists
in eliminating the risk of eye injuries caused
by flying swarf and coolant generated by high
performance lathes.
Manufactured
from sheet metal with two 5mm clear polycarbonate
vision panels, it has the added feature of
twin roller bearing slides over the headstock
to allow immediate operator access to the
work area for component inspection and change.

can be manufactured to suit individual machines
at no extra cost, please advise.

to the same exacting standard as Model SA-1
(above) the large capacity Model SA-2 has
the additional feature of the twin roller
tracks, one mounted in an "out-rigger"
position. This gives additional stability
to the heavier guard construction employed
on this Model.
